Random cat interrupts a player’s interview at the 2022 Qatar World Cup
Vinicius Junior (your left on the video) was one of Brazil’s most important players at this 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the team would be lost without him. But before the crucial game against the Croatian national team, he found himself lost for words when a random cat appeared and interrupted his press conference interview. Vini was answering questions from the gathered media representatives when a cat sat on the table and meowed in the middle of the answer. Everybody was amused and Vini started laughing loudly but nervously, knowing that the internet would have a field day after this.
The cat proceeded to not care so Vinicius’ coach picked it up and threw it quite rudely to the floor. I can’t believe he actually lifted it up by the skin like that! The media reacted, but it didn’t become a big thing like another viral video with another soccer player.
Brazil loses game against Croatia at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar
The cat didn’t care too much and continued on its merry way. Vinicius and his coach weren’t so lucky as Brazil unexpectedly lost the game with Croatia on penalties. Indeed Brazil were the favorites to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar led by their captain Neymar, but it wasn’t to be. The game ended goalless after regular time. Both teams scored a goal a piece in extra time, so they had to continue with penalties.
The Croatians led by their magnificent goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic who heroically saved 2 penalties, easily won the tense affair. At least Vinicius can have one funny anecdote with this hilarious cat from his unsuccessful World Cup. The coach will get all the hate for his rude action.
