He isn’t just a anti superhero on the big screen, oh no! Ryan Reynolds is always there when you need him in real life too, especially when you involve a teddy bear. Maria lost a very special one and Ryan was there to help her get it back.

Ryan Reynolds, teddy bear rescuer extraordinaire, is one of the most talented comedic actors in the world right now. His timing is priceless and his charm is undeniable. The famous Canadian actor is very active in Hollywood but he has also branched out in other areas. Ryan has stakes in a gin company – Aviation gin and a mobile network operator Mint Mobile. The 2010 sexiest man alive is a co-owner of a Welsh soccer club Wrexham with Rob McElhenney from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. The ads he makes for these companies are hilarious and no doubt wins over many new customers. The videos for Wrexham have made the English soccer club a hit world wide and kick-started a great move upwards. He also has his own production company behind many movies and other projects as well.
Dude is productive to say the least! And not only that but Ryan Reynolds has tied the knot with a certain Hollywood gossip girl. Indeed Ryan and Blake Lively are happily married and have three daughters. If all of these achievements didn’t make us admire him, he is quite the philanthropist as well. He’s read stories for charity, pledged half a million dollars for Ukraine refugees and another half a million for clean water and training young people. To add a cherry on this humongous cake, he noticed the story of Maria Soriano and her very special teddy bear. Needless to say, Ryan Reynolds decided to intervene…
Maria Soriano lost her very special teddy bear
Maria Soriano is a citizen of Ryan Reynolds’ hometown Vancouver. The Filipino native had lost her mother just the previous summer. Marylin Soriano was only 53 when cancer took her away from her family. However she left one amazing piece of memory for her daughter Maria before leaving. Mama Soriano recorded a wonderful message in Filipino and put it in a teddy bear. In the teddy bear message she tells Maria how much she loves her, is proud of her and she’ll always be with her.
So when Maria was moving to a new apartment and noticed the backpack with the bear was missing, she was absolutely devastated. The backpack also contained her most important documents, as well as an iPad and a Nintendo Switch. But Maria only wanted her teddy bear back. She posted her plea on Twitter and Ryan Reynolds re-posted that tweet. Additionally he offered 5000 dollars as a reward for whoever returned the teddy bear back, no questions asked.
Teddy bear gets a Ryan Reynolds happy ending
This story has a happy ending, of course (otherwise why would we post it?). The teddy bear was returned promptly by two good people who reportedly took it from the original thief. She thanked Ryan and acknowledged that without his “signal boost” it wouldn’t have been possible.
