How about that for a helpful pet? This rat hears his owner sneezing and brings her a tissue. He goes to the other side of the room and comes back with a Kleenex, wow! Our first thought and feeling when we hear the word rat certainly isn’t “a cute pet”, am I right? Well this person is here to change your mind. Her pet rats aren’t just cute, but they also show all of the intelligence you’d never expect of such a small creature.

She has several pet rats, they go by the names of Pepper, Blue and Puffin. They groom themselves more often than cats, they love playing and interacting with their humans. They are not picky eaters as they will eat left-overs, peas and dog treats, but they love cheerios. I can’t believe how cute these rats are! She is training them with positive reinforcement and a clicker.
They can go to their cage and like the title of the video suggests, these cute little things can bring you tissue when you sneeze. It’s hilarious and adorable but also proves that they are very intelligent creatures. They can pull a lever to open their cage which looks alarmingly smart for such a hated little animal. Much like dogs, they come when called and my personal favorite, they can play basketball.
