Who knew Ace Ventura could really sing?! But then again, he can do just about anything else, so we shouldn’t be surprised. Jim Carrey sings three songs in total at the bar and luckily there’s footage of all three linked below.
“This is my new anthem” Jim Carrey says about Radiohead’s “Creep”
Is there a person out there who doesn’t like this larger than life person? Jim Carrey is not quite a comedian, not quite an actor, very much an artist and one of the funniest people ever. Seriously, Robin Williams and Jim Carrey are two of my favorite people on the planet and it is difficult not to adore these two legends.

After a few odd movies in the 80s, he became world famous in the 90s by showing his comedic chops. His epic performances in “Ace Venture”, “The Mask”, “Dumb and Dumber”, “Liar, Liar” and “The Cable Guy” made him a Hollywood staple. His charm and sense of humor propelled him to the top of every list of most-wanted actors. So instead if resting on his laurels, Jim Carrey dived into drama and conquered that too! Carrey in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “The Truman Show” proved he can really act. He has wins and nominations for top notch awards like the Emmys and the Golden Globes. The only award that has eluded him is the elusive Mr. Oscar.
“We didn’t get a chance to rehearse this” Jim Carrey says jokingly before belting out “Creep”
The talented Jim Carrey is not known for singing, and for good reason, he is not very good at it. But this video shows that he is not afraid to go and try something he is not good at. Jim went to Arlene’s Grocery bar in New York City on September 9th of 2011. He picked three songs “Creep” by Radiohead, “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” by The Smashing Pumpkins and “I Started a Joke” by The Bee Gees. Jim Carrey’s performance of “Creep” became viral and we share it right here at RealGoodStories.net.
