When it comes to covers, this one will be remembered for a while. I love the Bee Gees and let’s be honest, besides Mmmbop, we barely know anything about Hanson, but their voices are spectacular. These boys have always been talented. How else can you pull off a song based on a word that is basically just a sound? LOL! Anyway, this cover of the Bee Gees’ “Too Much Heaven” by the handsome Hanson boys is spectacular! Hey, did I mention they used no mikes and no instruments? Yep, click bellow and enjoy.
Hanson didn’t end when everybody forgot about Mmmbop. No sir! The kids are alright and they’re still touring. Their 2019 String Theory Tour took them to Australia and the Sydney Opera House. A performance like this is only possible with superior acoustics and boy, does this place have it! What Hanson attempt to do here crazy, I mean who sings at a concert without mics?!
Hanson’s mic-less cover of “Too Much Heaven” by the Bee Gees is spectacular
The whole concert is a great experience but the Sydney Opera House always compels you to do something different and risky. I am sure they tried in rehearsals, but it’s always different in front of a huge audience. And of course, there is always the chance that one person will shout something or another and ruin the whole thing. The boys go out on stage and perform a song by an absolutely world class harmonizing trio and they don’t miss a beat. There are no instruments involved, but not only is this a-Capella, they omit mics as well! Crazy kids! It sounds beautiful and I really enjoyed this performance.
