Ed Sheeran Buskers Get A “Perfect” Surprise

As a street performer, most of the time you just expect people to ignore you. Just ask Ed Sheeran… I mean befoe he got so famous. You feel thankful for everybody who stops and throws something in the hat. When you get a big crowd like this one, it is considered the height of the street performing career. But these two were lucky today.

What a performance, Ed Sheeran would be proud to hear his “Perfect” sung like that

Ed Sheeran’s popularity is crazy

Ever since our ginger Lego lover showed up on the scene with “The A Team”, he has been ever-present on top of the pop lists. His songs are simple, catchy, melodic and beautiful. His first album featured a few more hits in “Lego House” and “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You”. Ed Sheeran titles his albums with math symbols so the first one was + (plus) and the second one was x (multiply). It featured even more hits as it made him one of the biggest stars in the world. “Sing” and “Don’t” occupied the top lists before “Thinking Out Loud” became a wedding mainstay. The third album was ÷ (divide) featuring some amazing songs like “Castle on the Hill” and “Galway Girl” but “Shape of You” was the biggest hit he’s ever had by then.

Allie Sherlock didn’t expect this Italian surprise while performing an Ed Sheeran classic

And Ed Sheeran also had his beginnings as a busker so no wonder all of these people follow in his footsteps. Allie Sherlock and her guitar-wielding friend were going about their business before they had a surprise. A random Italian dude heard them performing “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. I mean,, who doesn’t like Ed Sheeran in this day and age. It’s like saying you don’t like Nutella… if Nutella was ginger… Anyway, the guy starts singing the same song, only in Italian. The crowd is speechless and Allie and her guitarist are beyond impressed.

They finish it off by singing the last chorus together in English. Oh, in case I forgot to mention, this is happening on Grafton Street in Dublin (I meet her on Grafton street…) What more do you want?! Magical!
