This mama leopard takes her parenting very seriously! Young leopards need to learn to take care of themselves very early. Mama leopard teaches her little family how to cross the road as they cause a hilarious little traffic jam.
We all love cats, I mean besides those extreme dog people, and you are not one of them, right? Just kidding, just kidding, anybody is welcome here. Contrary to popular belief, domestic cats are not the only ones who can win a cute award. In fact, some of the wild cats can be even cuter if only we had more access to some footage. We’ve seen tigers, lions and panthers be quite adorable when full grown, so imagine what they are like when they are still little cubs. Leopards are no exception to the rule.
This cute leopard family causes a traffic jam during a road-crossing lesson
Leopards are funny creatures… not funny haha as much as funny weird. They can kill their prey in the blink of an eye or they can be very cute while playing with their moms. Much like any other wild cat, they remind us of our domesticated felines and if we take away their ability to annihilate us in under a second, they are not that different from one another. They are also known to be good parents, especially the mothers. The leopard cubs need to be ready to take care of themselves pretty early on otherwise a different predator could hunt them down. I found that out in a brutal documentary about wild cats and it stayed with me.
This mother knows that all too well, so she takes her parenting job quite seriously. She is going through every lesson of surviving in the wild for her little leopard cubs. And for wild animals, our roads are part of it. They need to know when to cross and when to wait. When they tried their first crossing, they caused a full-on traffic jam and the drivers can’t believe the adorable family. They take pictures and smile at the once in a lifetime event.
