Buddy has played with the best of them and Jeff has learned a thing or two from the man himself. This concert is definitely going to stay in the memory of each and every person in that crowd.

Buddy Guy and Jeff Beck: Legends of Rock

Buddy Guy was born in 1936 in Louisiana and has released 19 solo albums and countless more with other artists. The man is prolific as well as proficient and he has played with the man himself: Muddy Waters. Buddy has been an influence on every one ever mentioned on a BEST GUITARIST list. We’re talking about Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, and even Jeff Beck.

Jeff Beck is a bit younger, he was born in 1944 in Surrey and has released 14 solo albums. He has been a part of some amazing bands such as The Yardbirds, Beck, Bogert & Appice and even released an album with Johnny Depp in 2022.

Buddy and Jeff played together in 2009 at his 25 year anniversary concert at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. They played “Let Me Love You Baby” then for the first time together. This particular performance was part of Jeff Beck’s tour where Buddy Guy was his opening act. What Jeff does with his hands on a guitar is unbelievable and just must be witnessed!
