“America’s Got Talent” have had their fair share of once-in-a-generation talents and the odd Frank Sinatra cover, but this girl is something else. When she starts singing all the judges are amazed and they can’t believe that voice is coming out of that little girl. She is so good, Simon wants to set her up with his four-year old son.
America’s Got Covers Talent
Everybody’s seen this show as it’s been broadcast around the world. “America’s Got Talent” started in America in 2006 and has since spawned more than 68 versions all around the world. Contestants showcase their talent, often singing or dancing, but there’s some weird stuff as well in front of the judges. There are four judges including the absolutely charming Simon Cowell (the nicest man on the planet) who appeared on the British version the following year. Remember Susan Boyle and her amazing voice? Well she was discovered on this show. Even Guinness recognized “… Got Talent” as the most successful reality TV format in 2014. Among the Frank Sinatra covers and crazy juggling skills, a talent will most certainly emerge…

Frank Sinatra was definitely smiling at her young Sophie when he heard her cover of his song. I am sure Mr. Blue Eyes hasn’t been impressed by every cover of his songs over the years, but Sophie is special. Since Mr. Sinatra himself is known for a wonderful cover song, I am sure he will be proud with Sophie’s version of “My Way”. Gypsy Kings got their own Spanish version “A Mi Manera”, Tom Jones covered “Fly Me to the Moon”, incidentally Sophie did it too.

Five-year old Sophie had already appeared on Ellen DeGeneres as the youngest jazz recording artists in history. She’s been on “Little Big Shots” on NBC as well, now it was time for “America’s Got Talent”. When she comes on stage, nobody expects much in terms of talent but her charisma is undeniable. And then the girl opens her mouth… everybody was charmed even before she started singing. She tells Cowell that she dreamed he gave her a YES. This girl is doing everything right! When the music starts, the judges are surprised! Why is this little girl whose life had only started singing about the end of one’s life? But she does it with aplomb and by the end of the song, we all know the result. She gets not one or two, but four Yeses and she passes through to the next round. Just listen to this voice! Wow!
